CLASS Aquatics offers training and practice groups for swimmers of all ages and ability levels. It is the goal of CLASS Aquatics to offer age specific training for all of our athletes geared towards challenging each individual and developing each individual to the best of THEIR abilities.



AGE GROUP PROGRAM

The foundation of CLASS Aquatics starts with the development of our age group program.  The entire CLASS Coaching Staff focuses on the growth and progression of each swimmer's respective knowledge of stroke technique, conditioning, and competition.  With groups for all skill levels, we have swimmers from novice level to Nationally ranked within our age gro. up program

Each of our three training groups are HIGHLY encouraged to attend swim meets.  


Malolo (Flying Fish) Group 
Novice Age Group level. The emphasis is on the basics of competitive strokes, while having fun!

Maholo Group Coach:  Reid Shorten
Workout Days/Times: Monday-Friday 5-5:45pm



Mano (Shark) Group
Age Group level. Continued emphasis on stroke basics plus an increased focus on more advanced skills including starts, turns, and drills. Additional conditioning is introduced.

Mano Group Coach:  Helenka Lozano
Workout Days/Times: Monday-Friday 5-6pm



Big Kahuna Group 
Age Group Performance level. Practices continue to stress stroke development while conditioning work is increased. Introduction of advanced interval training, dry land exercises and race strategy.

Big Kahuna Coach: Adrian Dinis
Workout Days/Times: Monday-Friday 5-6:15pm
                                   Saturday 7:30-9am

 

SENIOR PROGRAM

With almost 70 combined years of experience between our three CLASS Aquatics Senior Coaches coupled with the historic success of the program, it is safe to say that we have the most experienced and talented Senior Coaching Staff in the region.  With the continued focus of stroke technique and an advanced progression of performance specific work, our Senior Program and its success has been as diverse as the swimmers within its program.  

 

Junior Development Group
Novice/Intermediate level.  Practices are based and structured around both technique and conditioning.  Emphasis stays on teaching all four strokes legally and conditioning preparation for middle and high school swimming.  

Junior Development Coach: Helenka Lozano
Workout Days/Times: Tuesday-Thursday 6:15-7:15pm



Junior-Senior Group 
Increased intensity and commitment. There is more emphasis on competition and goal setting. Dryland training is expanded. Also an option for is for high school age swimmers to continue to develop their swimming skills while participating in another sport at school.

Senior Group 
Maximum commitment. Highly advanced training with the goal of developing national level swimmers. Morning and Saturday practices are expected.
