CLASS Swimmers “tune up” Competition in GREAT showing in Simi Valley!

 

CLASS Aquatics showed up huge at the CSSC Last Chance WAG Qualifiers Meet.  CLASS swimmers did a remarkable job RACING their respective heats, with NEW WAG cuts and lots of rubber duckie heat winners earned! 

GREAT JOB CLASS!

 

Jackie Ahn (11) dropped over 26 seconds in the 200 Free, dropped almost 2.5 seconds, and over a second in the 50 Fly for three new WAG cuts.

 

Liam Avraham (10) dropped over 5.5 seconds in the 50 Fly and dropped over 3 seconds in the 100 IM for two new WAGE cuts. 

 

Roi Avraham (14) dropped time in his 200 Free, 100 Breast, and 100 Free for three solid swims!

 

Leila Benwitt (10) dropped almost half of a second in both the 50 Free and 100 IM.  

 

Ben Best (8) dropped some time in the 25 Fly and swam impressively in both the 50 Back and 50 Free.

 

Peter Best (11) dropped an eye popping 21 seconds in the 100 Breast and almost 5 full seconds in the 50 Free.  

Dylan Blietz (15) was working on his pacing, swimming the mile (1650 Free) in under 18 minutes.

 

Ava Buschmann (9) dropped time in all six events she swam, including a monster 100 Breast where she dropped a ridiculous 21 seconds in the 100 Breast, dropped over 4.5 seconds in the 50 Fly, and dropped over 2 seconds in the 100 IM and 100 Free, respectively.  

 

Erik Buschmann (10) had a stellar performance in both Fly races, dropping over 4.5 seconds in the 100 Fly and over half of a second in the 50 Fly.

Owen Campbell (10) dropped over a half of a second in four of the six events he swam, including the 50 Fly, 100 Back, 100 IM, and 50 Back.

 

Scott Campbell (12) had a couple of breakthrough races, including dropping an impressive 17 seconds in the 200 Free and dropping over 3.5 seconds in the 100 IM, both new WAG cuts. 

Chloe Cheevers (15) swam strong in season swims in both the 100 Breast and the 500 Free.

 

Maxim Fedorchak (13) dropped over half of a second in the 100 Free and swam a strong 200 IM.  

Olivia Green (15) dropped another half of a second in her 50 Free and shaved a couple tenths off of her 100 Free as well.

 

Oliver Hitch (15) stayed under 1:00 in his 100 Fly and had solid in season races.

 

Shailee Hoffman (10) dropped almost 3 full seconds in the 50 Fly, earning a new WAG cut.  She also dropped a half of a second in the 50 Back.  

 

Bryan Huang (16) dropped over half of a second in the 200 Free and over a second and a half in the 200 IM.  

 

Isabella Karas (9) dropped almost a full second in the 50 Free, earning herself her very first WAG cut!  She also dropped a second in the 200 Free and less than half of a second in the 50 Fly.  

 

Laura Kelly (17) swam a very strong in season 100 Breast and was amazing in helping time during the 10un session both mornings.

 

Alia Lau (11) placed top 10 in five of the six events she swam, including fast 50 Back, 50 Fly, and 50 Free.  

 

Ryan Lozano (20) dropped over a full second in the 100 Back, going under 1:10 for the first time ever!

 

Andrew Melekhov (12) dropped over 2.5 seconds in the 50 Fly and chipped away at his time in the 50 Free with a .2 drop.  

 

Kylie Melekhov (12) placed top 10 in four of the six events she swam, including fast swims in the 50 Back and 100 Breast.  

 

Grace Nackers (12) dropped almost a full second in the 100 Breast and placed top 4 in six of her seven events.  

 

Grady Nackers (10) dropped almost 3 full seconds in the 200 IM, dropped over a second in the 100 IM, and dropping almost half of a second in the 50 Free.  

 

Connor Overton (15) had top 10 finishes in all five of his events, including going under 1:00 in the 100 Back.  

 

Abi Slocum (11) had some solid swims in the 200 Free, 50 Free, and 100 IM.

 

Azim Stack (15) showed off some breaststroke ability, dropping almost half of a second in the 100 Breast.  

 

David Thomas (10) dropped almost 3 seconds in the 100 Free and dropped 1.5 seconds in the 50 Fly.  

 

Nathaniel Tsai (8) did an outstanding job in swimming both the 50 Back and 50 Free.

 

Jennie Wang (13) swam impressively in both her 100 Breast and 100 Fly.

 

Unna Yuvavanich (12) dropped half of a second in the 50 Back, swam the 1000 Free for the first time ever as she won her age group in the event.
