CLASS and CSSC Combine in Simi!

As of June 1, CLASS has combined with Conejo Simi Swim Club in Simi Valley The competitive team at the Rancho Simi pool is now under the umbrella of CLASS Aquatics as we will be providing the coaching and administration for the site. With the combining of the teams, we will create stability to a historically strong swimming community and give ourselves new options to grow and support swimming in the Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake areas.

There are many positives to this merger, starting with ensuring that swimming continues to have an opportunity to thrive in the Conejo and Simi Valley area.  CLASS Aquatics has been a consistent impact swim team in and around the Conejo Valley for 30+ years and with our foundational belief in structure and execution, we believe that the CLASS organization will be exactly the stabilizing force needed to help this facility and area thrive.

With the combining of swimmers, there will be more competitive opportunities as swimmers from both pools will combine to form relays at higher level meets such as JAGs, JO’s, Sectionals and more. At the upcoming JAG meet in Santa Clarita, over a dozen athletes from each pool are swimming relays that may not have otherwise been swum. And we are just getting started!
