Welcome to our new season! Registration is open. Please read all the information below!

Due to the closure of the Vancouver Aquatic Centre, the resulting displacement of our programs, and the severe overall reduction in the availability of pool space in the City, our Masters program will look substantially different this season. We are offering a limited long course program offered during midday hours, as well as a morning and an evening program run short course, all at Hillcrest pool.

NEW! Added Value! Join the YWCA: CDSC has entered into a corporate membership agreement with the YWCA (535 Hornby Street) which will enable our members to join the YWCA under our corporate membership umbrella for a special rate of $60/month. If you take advantage of this rate it will entitle you to full access of its facilities, including their 6 lane 25m pool, a full newly-renovated gym, as well as many classes, most for no extra cost. CDSC MASTERS PROGRAMS

PROGRAM 1: NOON MASTERS LC

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: 

Training sessions will be at Hillcrest Pool.

These sessions are for swimmers who can swim, at a minimum, 6 X 100m (LC) @1:40.

These dates and schedules are subject to change, please check our website for updates. There will be no practices on Statutory Holidays or during pool closures.

FEES:

$120 + GST/month (total: $126)

PROGRAM 2: AM MASTERS SC

FULL

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: 

Training sessions will be at Hillcrest Pool.

These sessions are for swimmers who can swim, at a minimum, 6 X 100m @2:20.

These dates and schedules are subject to change, please check our website for updates. There will be no practices on Statutory Holidays or during pool closures.

FEES:

$95 + GST/month (total: $99.75)

PROGRAM 3 and 4: SUNDAY MASTERS SC

LOCATION AND SCHEDULE: 

Training sessions will be at Hillcrest Pool.

These groups are for swimmers who can swim, at a minimum, 6 X 100m @2:40.

These dates and schedules are subject to change, please check our website for updates. There will be no practices on Statutory Holidays or during pool closures.

FEES PER GROUP:

$50 + GST/month (total: $52.50) per group

ALL PROGRAMS

FIRST WEEK: Starting September 8

SCHEDULED BREAKS:

No practices:

December 23, 2026 - January 4, 2027

Spring Break (1 week TBA)

No practices on Statutory Holidays or pool shutdowns.

Fees will not be prorated for scheduled/posted breaks, cancellations, or pool shutdowns.

Last practice of the season: Sunday, June 27, 2027.

 

FEES:

Monthly fees are non-refundable and cannot be prorated except for documented medical reasons. There will be no pro-rata adjustments for partial months, such as during Christmas/New Year's break, Spring Break, or for statutory holidays or pool closures (TBA).

Any declined credit card charges will have a $25 service charge added. If payment for the month is not received by the 15th of the month, or in the case of Swim BC/SNC fees, within 15 days of billing, your registration will be cancelled, and your space allotted to waitlisted swimmers, if any.

SWIM BC MEMBERSHIP:

All members of our Masters group must have a current valid membership with Swim BC.  

All existing members must renew their memberships in September of each year and memberships are valid through August of the following year. The Swim BC Masters registration fee is for this season has 2 streams:

Recreational only: $10/quarter

Competitive: $77.25

We will charge your credit card for the Swim BC recreational fee for one quarter ($10) when you register online with our program, and we will register you with Swim BC as a recreational swimmer. You will be charged a further $10 in January, and in March. If you decide you wish to compete, please email treasurer2627@canadiandolphin.ca and we will register you with Swim BC as a competitive Masters swimmer and will charge your credit card for the $77.25 fee.

Swim BC fees are non-refundable.

WITHDRAWAL:

Your credit card will continue to be charged monthly for the training fees with the last payment on June 1, 2027.

If you wish to withdraw from the club prior to June 2027, you must give written notice by email to treasurer2627@canadiandolphin.ca before the beginning of the previous month; for example, if you wish to withdraw from the club from the month of February onwards, notice of the withdrawal must be received in writing as above by the club no later than December 31st. 

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENTS:

Training fees will be charged monthly, on the first day of each month, starting on September 1st or the first day of the month following registration, as applicable. The Swim BC fee ($10) will be charged to your credit card when you register online with our program. 

Please note that you will be required to provide credit card information in order to complete your online registration. 

Photograph: To help our coaches to get to know you, we also ask that you upload a "head and shoulders" type of photograph of yourself to your online account.
