RECORDS BROKEN:  5 from the Olympian Swim Meet - Provincial relay record missed by 1 second.

Olivia Zhou broke 3 records over the weekend at the Olympian Swim Meet.

50 free - she broke both the 13-14 age category record (her own of 26.36) and our OPEN category (formerly held by Emma L.) with her lead off swim in the relay of 26.05  (OLD Open record 26.16)

50 back - she broke her own record (29.93)- with a new mark of 29.41

50 fly - she broke Julia S. record (28.93) - posting a new record time of 28.30

GREAT JOB!!

The 12 & under boys 200 Free Relay consisting of Shaun Wu, Sion Lee, George Wang and Roy Lee broke the existing record of 2:01.67 from 2012 posting a new time of 2:00.43. 

The girls 13 - 14 relay consisting of Olivia Zhou, Jobia Plata, Olivia Harb and Audrey Chow, broke the existing 200 Medley Record of 2:02.67 from 2016, consisting of Jaimie Lavoie, Helen Black, Helena Zhou and Caleigh Luis, posting a new time of 2:02.20 

Congratulations to everyone.  The relay swimmers will receive a relay record cap and Olivia has received a record breaking cap already for her earlier records.  Zach will hand these out on Tuesday after we have ratified the official results from Swim Canada.
